For more than 20 years I have been leading IT solutions and projects for large companies in different areas (telecommunications, financial services, security, ehealth, energy, cloud...), especially highlighting my activity in the payments sector, where I have been one of the pioneers of mobile payments in Spain and responsible for several payment gateways for 10 years. In 2015 I co-founded NevTrace, the first Blockchain laboratory in Spain, where we collaborated with companies, educational institutions, security forces, regulators and media to facilitate their understanding of blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Since 2018 I have been manager of the Blockchain & Web3 team at Telefónica Tech (formerly in the Global Innovation area). My goal is to identify the transformation potential of these technologies, building the strategy and positioning of Telefónica (the only spanish company in 2021 Forbes "50 Blockchain" list) and making true the value proposition of Telefónica Tech to facilitate a fast and easy integration of Blockchain and Web3 in the business of large companies, SMEs and startups. I combine this work with my activity as director of the Master in Blockchain & Web3 and profesor in the Computer Engineering grade at the European University.
