Resumen

Objective: To examine the needs and opportunities forcompany-sport collaboration from differentiated sports models inthe open system.Method: A descriptive and interpretive research was carriedout through participant observation and secondary analysis ofprimary sources.Results: The results revealed the need to adapt resources to theneeds of addressing the digital transformation in business-sportcollaboration in all sports models. They established strategicopportunities to carry out such adaptation of resources to theelimination of barriers to sports practice, the generation of newprofessions typical of sports sciences and the accommodation ofpolicies, processes, economic relations, and the legal norms.Conclusions: The sport-business relationship can offerconcrete organizational solutions that enable a developmentmechanism towards true planning in the field of digitaltransformation in sport, increasing the number of practitionersand the creation of stable, specialized, and protected employmentin sports sciences.
