Abstract
The appearance of jihadist groups in Europe and Spain has meant the need to approach the fight against terrorism in a particular way, since the threat of these groups occurs inside and outside our borders, under an ideological substrate based on an extreme interpretation of the Islamic religion. Given the particularities of these groups, through the 2021 National Security Strategy, Spain establishes a series of lines of action to deal with the processes of violent radicalization and the fight against this type of terrorism.
