Evaluación de competencias entre los profesionales formados en España. Validación al castellano de la escala Nursing Competence Scale

Laburpena

Aim: translate into Spanish language, transculturally adapt, validate the contents and analyse the psichometric features of the questionnaire “Nurs-ing Compentence Scale (NCS)”. Methodology: study of the transcultural adaptation to the spanish context, content and clinimetric validation of the NCS questionnaire among enrolled students, during 2017-2018 academic year, at the 4th year of the Nursing Degree at different spanish universi-ties. Outcomes: 116 questionaries were filled in from november 2017 until january 2018. The reliability analysis of the spanish questionnaire indi-cates a high level of internal consistency in a similar way to the original scale. No competence was self-evaluated on average with a low acquisition level, as well as there was no competential group that, from the students´ perspective, was not applicable in their work. Conclusion: NCS scale, translated and transculturally adapted to the spanish language, keeps psichometric properties of the original scale.
