Laburpena

To validate the Spanish version of the Reecti on Scale from the instrument Reective Learning Continuum for youngeli te foo tball player s. Me thod. Validation study. e original ver sion was translated and adapted f oll owing the protocol of th eAmeri can Psy chological A ss oc iation. Once tra nslated, th e ver sion was administered to 4 78 y oung e li te players toge ther with theBehavioral Regulation in Sport Questionnaire, aiming to evaluate the psy chometric properties. In addi ti on, internal consistencyanal ysis, conrmatory fa ctor analysis and bivariate correlations anal ysis wi th th eoretically related va riabl es were ca rri ed o ut. Results.The Spanish version of the Reflection Scale show s cultural and linguisticeviden ce wi thits original version. Moreover, conrmatoryfactor a nalysis s howed an acceptable t to the data χ²(df) = 2 8.61 ( 88), p < 0 .001, RMSEA ( 90% CI ) = 0 .07 ( 0.06-0.08), CFI =0.99, TLI = 0.9 9. A lso, the internal consistency analyses, as well as the relationship with motivation, support the validated version. Conclusion. The results provideevid en ce in favour of the psychometric properties of the Spanish validation of the Reflection Scal
