PhD from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. MsC in Design Engineering from the UNED and a BsC in Aerospace Engineering from the University of León. I am also an expert in science journalism and science communication from the UNED. I was a visiting professor at the UNED and I am currently a Associate professor at the European University of Madrid. My research interest are visualization and visual resources, creativity and visual literacy in engineering education. I performed research works around the conceptual design process, and creativity and visual literacy, in engineering education. Between 2019 and 2021 I participated in the Erasmus+ academic research project "Visual Literacy for Engineering Education" which resulted in a comprehensive guide to competences in Visual Literacy for Engineering Education (http://vleeproject.eu). He is currently participating in the project "Engineering Education for a sustainable future", also within the Erasmus + programme.
