Senior Officer of the Venezuelan Navy, graduated from the Naval Academy with a degree in Naval Sciences and a specialization in Marine Infantry. He holds a Postdoctoral degree in Managerial Sciences, a Doctorate in Economic and Administrative Sciences, a Master’s in Human Resources Management, and a Master’s in Applied Security. His academic background is complemented by university specializations in Industrial Relations, Politics, and International Humanitarian Law, as well as executive programs at IESA (PAG), Aden Business School, and the Negotiation and Persuasion Program at Harvard University. He is accredited as a Security Director by the Kingdom of Spain and holds internationally prestigious certifications awarded by leading institutions in the United States and the United Kingdom in the field of security: Certified Protection Professional (CPP®) from ASIS International (USA), Certified Security Management Professional (CSMP®) from ISMI (UK), Certified Protection Officer (CPOⒸ) from IFPO (USA), and Security Risk Management Professional (SRMP®) from INSSA (UK). With over 30 years of experience in security management, he has built a solid career in military operations, performing tactical duties in amphibious command units and in conflict border zones. He was assigned to the Presidential Military House of the Republic of Venezuela, where he was part of the protection team for two Heads of State. He led security operations for presidential visits, government secretaries, and prime ministers from various countries, consolidating his expertise in high-demand tactical and diplomatic scenarios. Later, in the corporate sphere, he held leadership positions in multinational security companies, notably serving as General Director for a prestigious U.S.-based firm. In this role, he managed high-profile corporate accounts, including security and protection services for the U.S. embassy facilities in both Venezuela and Guatemala, as well as strategic operations for multinational clients in the diplomatic, energy, and financial sectors. He is currently a university professor at Universidad Europea, within the Faculty of Economic, Business, and Communication Sciences, where he teaches subjects related to economic environment, microeconomics, macroeconomics, professional development, violence in international society, criminology, among others. His academic work is complemented by active participation as an international speaker on topics such as International Security, Defense, Terrorism, Corporate Intelligence, and Business Leadership. Additionally, he serves as a Consulting Director for a multinational company operating in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, leading commercial expansion initiatives, institutional alliances, and strategic positioning in emerging markets. His academic career includes several years of teaching at universities across Latin America, as well as contributions to scientific publications, executive training programs, and advisory roles for multilateral organizations. His profile combines academic excellence, strategic leadership, and a solid track record in global security, positioning him as a reference in the military, corporate, and academic spheres.
