Doctor by the Universidad Europea de Madrid with the thesis Dinámicas urbanas en las ciudades pequeñas. Propuesta de gestión para la retención y atracción de población a través de la calidad de vida, en la ciudad de Astorga 2017. Supervised by Dr. Rocío Moldes Farelo.

As a professor and researcher in the social sciences, I have developed an academic trajectory focused on designing meaningful and applied learning experiences, systematically integrating active methodologies—particularly Challenge Based Learning (CBL)—into university teaching practice. My work is grounded in an experiential pedagogical approach that connects theoretical knowledge with real-world professional challenges, thereby fostering the development of transversal competencies among students. Within this framework, I have led and coordinated educational and teaching innovation projects in ongoing collaboration with companies and third-sector organizations of various sizes and industries. Notable collaborations include partnerships with PwC, Renault, BMW, and Fundación Global Nature, through an academic consulting lab I have directed, aimed at designing transformative learning experiences in authentic contexts. My teaching activity includes supervising undergraduate final projects and lecturing on marketing and strategy at Universidad Europea de Madrid, as well as in other leading institutions, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In all cases, I apply a student-centered approach that promotes critical thinking, creativity, and complex problem-solving through active methodologies. My research focuses on the study and evaluation of innovative teaching practices for learning enhancement, alongside topics related to social innovation and diversity, and inclusive urban economics. This research profile is complemented by active participation in academic conferences, scientific publications, and ongoing professional development in emerging areas such as digital marketing, sustainable economics, and social transformation in urban contexts
