I have been teaching on the Design Degree at the Universidad Europea de Madrid since the 2008/09 course and as of 2019, I am the co-director of the MA in UX Design, which I created from scratch with Pablo Rubio (Erretres design studio) and Celina Roig. I graduated from Central Saint Martins with a Graphic Design Degree in 1986, completed my Design Masters at the Madrid Complutense University in 2015 and at present am working on my PhD thesis, investigating the role of design in the Circular Economy, at the Universidad de Castilla La Mancha. I hope to offer valid and much-needed design research to help create a brighter future with my work as a designer/educator and publish my findings as an Open Source digital product. I am English but spent my childhood in Spain and therefore bilingual (English-Spanish); since 1991 I live and work in Madrid, Spain. My areas of expertise in the field of design include: graphic design, design research (design for the circular economy), education (design, visualizations, UX, generation of contents), project management, and exhibition curation, having led a wide variety of projects related to the design world.
