Resumen

La administración adecuada de los Derechos Humanos (DDHH) en las empresas presenta dificultades Los Principios Rectores sobre Empresa y Derechos Humanos (UNGPs) constituyen la herramienta clave para su buen gobierno. Su aprobación en 2011 por Naciones Unidas constituyó un hito histórico. El núcleo de la actuación de la empresa en los UNGPs es el proceso de Debida Diligencia y para su implementación es crítico el papel del Consejo de Administración (CA). En 2020 la Unión Europea (UE) inició los trabajos sobre una Directiva que hará obligatoria la Debida Diligencia. Este artículo investiga, a través de entrevistas a miembros de Consejos de Administración su situación de partida ante el nuevo escenario normativo, en España, Portugal, Francia y Malta.
