Resumo
This paper reviews the life and work of Juan Antonio Guirado, born at the beginning of the 20th century in Jaén. Throughout his career he will travel to Australia, other European countries and the United States. He will be on the island of Lanzarote for almost a decade to end his days in his native Andalusia. Its significance lies both in the use of color and line and in its social criticism and visionary character. His work ranges from early work attached to tradition and academic study to, with in-depth knowledge of the technique, scathing and visionary tables that transcend the artist's time.
