Abstract
The influence of psychological aspects, such as roles and group cohesiveness, is great in team sports, especially with respect to performance, social relations and effectiveness of the task. This research work pretends to find a relation between these psychological factors in team sport players from the under-14 and under-16 categories of different sports. Throughout the process, 846 samples were collected in two different periods, and 259 of them were used in this research. The main objective was to analyze the differences between both categories when it comes to acceptance of roles and group cohesiveness and to stablish a relation between them. To achieve that, descriptive analysis and non-parametric analysis were carried out.
