Abstract

Dr. Miguel Ángel Reina, Associate Professor at CEU San Pablo University, has been awarded in 2021 with the SEMDOR pryce in recognition of his research career within the field of medicine applied to pain treatment. His multiple publications on the microanatomy of different anatomical regions applied to regional anesthesia techniques and pain treatment in American journals with impact have contributed to achieving this recognition. He works as anesthesiologist at Montepríncipe University Hospital. in Madrid. In addition, he does his research at the Institute of Applied Molecular Medicine Faculty of San Pablo CEU University in Madrid. In this video he will explain us how his beginnings in research were, all the difficulties he has to overcome, and what he felt when his findings in the laboratory brought down science myths defended by many up to that moment.
