Abstract

In the field of human rights, it is increasingly common to use transdisciplinary approaches as opposed to purely legal analyses. Therefore, we see the need to carry out research on decolonizing human rights. This article aims to discuss political, economic, and philosophic challenges in theorizing human rights and feminism within the perspective of the Global South. The first part of this article is a dialogue between critical theory on human rights and decolonial thinking, connecting it with contemporary debates occurred in the legal field of human rights. Then, a section connecting decolonial feminism in Latin America and the Middle East puts forward a way for men to participate in gender struggles.
