Arquitectura civil segoviana en el Plateresco

Résumé

The theme of the thesis is Civil Architecture in Segovia during the Plateresque ( XVI century). The work is structured in three parts: first, theoretical frame that also consists of three chapters dealing with urban, formal, and typological and constructive aspects. In the second are analyzed and characterized the plateresque buildings and houses are studied individually; and the third is dedicated to the heritage conservation of the buildings. The main conclusion is the presence of a formal structure, when not decorative, differs from the Gothic and that affects all the disciplines that intervene in the constructive process.
