Resumen

Due to the great importance that has been attributed to emotional education in recent years and to its promotion through programs aimed at improving the resources and socioemotional competencies of the participants, many studies have been commissioned to evaluate the impact of these programs and to demonstrate their effects on those who have adhered to them. The present research project arises from the need to propose an alternative to the existing programs in emotional management, through the creation of four ad hoc intervention programs in emotional management, whose design and development is based on the specific characteristics of the people with whom we intervene and their initial needs. In addition, it promotes an experiential process methodology, which includes a dialogic and collaborative approach. Likewise, the project aims to work with different professionals, whose areas of action are welfare, social and educational, to improve their emotional management resources. The research aims to measure the impact of the interventions through case studies with a mixed quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design and through a longitudinal follow-up study, in order to evaluate the effects with at least one of the interventions over time. Finally, the creation of a free application for smartphones with Android operating system is provided, with the purpose of measuring emotional episodes shared by users, at the moment they experience them, in natural contexts, following an experience sampling methodology. The quantitative and qualitative results obtained in all the studies conducted demonstrated the efficacy and effectiveness of each ad hoc intervention carried out. In addition, the results obtained in the application study showed its efficacy, highlighting the importance of promoting a change in the way emotions are measured and intervening in the regulation of emotions.
