Resumo

For more than two decades, there has been clinical evidence on the success of placing immediate implants on alveolus of recently extracted teeth, and it is currently a treatment that is highly demanded by patients. However, due to the multiple therapeutic options existing in the management of the gap formed between the alveolus after extraction and the implant placed, the need arises to carry out a review of literature. We proceed to perform a bibliographic review and present a clinical case.
