Resum
Background: Edentulous patients in the posterior maxilla often have insufficient quality and quantity of alveolar bone. The crestal approach sinus lift as been presented with several advantages over the lateral window approach, which includes the reduction of the operation time, lesser postoperative morbidity and trauma. Literature suggests that the residual bone height could influence the outcome of crestal procedures but controversial results have been published regarding the minimal amount of residual bone height
