Resumo

At present, the great repercussion of school bullying is evident, a phenomenon that is being seen increasingly in our society and with increasingly serious consequences. Harassment at school is a very serious phenomenon that we considered necessary to do something to prevent it from continuing. With the thesis presented below, we pursue the achievement of two well-defined objectives, firstly designing a program to prevent and avoid situations of bullying, based on the promotion of emotional intelligence in secondary school students Compulsory, Coexistence and Emotional Intelligence Program (CIE); And secondly to apply this program to first and second ESO students from different educational centers, to check the effectiveness of this program. The sample of students to which we are going to apply our program is formed by a total of 189 students between 11 and 16 years, selected incidentally, belonging to two educational centers of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, who were Enrolled in 1st and 2nd of the ESO of said educational centers. For the analysis of the data obtained in this study we used a quasi-experimental design of repeated measures pre-test - post-test, fulfilling all the ethical values predicted in the investigation with human beings. In order to measure the variables analyzed in our study, 6 evaluation instruments were used; 1. TEST BULL-S. Test of sociometric evaluation of violence among schoolchildren. (Cerezo, 2002) 2. Self-concept. For their evaluation we will use the emotional self-concept scale of the LAEA test (Garaigordobil, M. 2011). 3. Questionnaire on social competence. MESSY (Trianes et al, 2002). 4. Automation For the evaluation of this construct we will use the SMAT (motivational test for adolescents) Sweeney, Cattell & Krugg 5. Self-control, we will use the CACIA Child and Adolescent Self-Control Questionnaire (Capafons and Silva, 1991) The CIE Program (Carbonell, Sánchez and Cerezo, 2014) consists of 5 sessions of weekly application through a virtual classroom, with an approximate duration of 60 minutes each, through the theory and the practice is taught to the students of Group form which are the main elements of the Emotional Intelligence and how to incorporate them in their daily life as a way to face and to prevent the different situations of bullying. The results obtained, analyzed with the SPSS-23 statistical program, showed statistically significant levels, which showed that after the application of the CIE Program the students showed an increase in Emotional Intelligence levels and a decrease in harassment behavior, especially in Social Competence and empathy, a very important factor for the prevention of bullying. It is also observed that both teachers and students were very satisfied after the application. This work starts a course of study on the influence of Emotional Intelligence and the Bullying phenomenon using the new technologies, which is an incentive to the age profile with which we work, as well as a useful tool for the teaching staff that after adequate training Can adapt it to their educational tools.
