Abstract
After more than 50 years of armed conflict, peace seems to glimpse at the end of the tunnel in the Latin American country. lt could be said that the architects of this achievement have been several, among which would be the European Unionl Since the l980s, the European Union has been supporting Colombia economically and politically on different frontsl Since 2002, its main support instrument has been the socalled «Peace Laboratories». Which are development cooperation programs aimed at seeking peace between the Colombian State and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia e People’s Army. Recently, the Colombian Congress approved the Havana Peace Agreement after a failed plebiscite.
