Abstract
Barodontalgia could be defined as dental pain occurring following a dysbarism, due to the incapacity of the pulp chamber to adjust its internal pressure in response to changes to ambient pressure, both in hyper and hypobaric conditions. There are a number of hypotheses and a number of different factors are involved. This study provides a review and an update on the issue.
