Resumen
This paper aims to define the abilities of professionals in architecture, analyze and understand them, by the architecture profession and the society, in order to be able to apply them on other professional models, and use them in our own, in a new way. It is for this reason, that we divide this analysis in three sections: In the first one, we try to understand cognitive skills of the architect. In the second, and as an application of this forethought, we propose a search, in which collaboration with society is essential, on new fields of labour intervention. Finally, we propose the necessity of a new educational model that accommodates these new approaches.
