Laburpena

Hypercalcemia and hypothyroidism are two of the endocrine complications due to treatment with lithium. We present a case of a woman affected with a bipolar disorder, in chronic treatment with lithium that developed subclinic hypothyroidism and primary hyperparathyroidism. In relation to these case, we reviewed the physiopathologic pathways of these two endocrine disorders induced by lithium.
