EU-U.S. Summit should deep transatlantic values. The crisis in Ukraine is on the table and both the EU and US must act without splits and with conviction . Organizations like NATO should serve as a link for the Crimea’s challenge. The EU should unify its foreign policy and stablishes a common energy policiy to avoid the Russian dependency. The Transatlantic trade agreement , which will be on the agenda of the summit, should serve to promote energy alternatives with greater solidarity between the two sides . The Snowden case and the protection of personal data may hinder the negotiations. Cards as the nuclear program of Iran , the Syrian war or instability in Egypt will be on the table with Russia ready to play hard.
