Abstract

This article deals with the concept of grieffrom the viewpoint of the Spanish juridical and penal system, and on the other, it reflects on the exclusion of the penalty purely retribution in Spanish legislation, in favour of the preventive purposes. Finally, it refers to the informing principles of the system of penalties in the Spanish juridical-penal order
